It’s revolutionary tourism of the worst sort but I’m off to Caracas next week. Well, Caracas and a couple of places along the coast which are utter hotbeds of Chavista fervour. It’s the purest chance that they also have good beaches and pretty colonial towns. Naturally I’ll take every chance to explain that the Venezuelan revolution is doomed unless the Venezuelans get themselves a Leninist organisation of the type that works so well in Britain.
