Most socialist events end with a slightly embarrassed version of the Internationale or maybe the Red Flag. Not so in Tommy Sheridan’s new crew.

His mother, Alice Sheridan sang, Impossible Dream. It’s excruciatingly funny and shows that apolitical personality cults will not be any part of the new project. The link to the video is underneath.

Thanks to comrade Sam who provides the following remarks.

“As for Tommy’s face, I found his eye gaze interesting. In classic NLP theory, looking down shows his thought processes are about his feelings and to the left (his right) shows that he’s making it up i.e. being creative or in other words…lying. I’m going to have to watch the clip again (arghhh….) to see quite where he looks when Alice belts out the line ‘a man so pure and chaste…’”

A much more uplifting video of Carolyn Leckie speaking at last Saturday‘ s SSP rally can be seen at

Thanks to Andy for this one. It refutes some of the nonsense about the SSP, the war and gloobalisation. (Apologies for not being able to reply to comments. I am not able to log in to Blogger and have to use another program.)
