Our next planning meeting is at the usual venue Praxis Centre , Pott Street, Bethnal Green on Thursday 21 September.

The first larger event is on Tuesday 10 October @ 7pm also in the Praxis Centre. Jeremy Dear, General Secretary of the National Union of Journalists, will talk about the recent TUC delegation to Venezuela. Find out how Venezuelan workers participate in the revolution.

Jeremy Corbyn has been invited to talk about what is happening in Mexico. He is there at the moment. To make the hat-trick I’d like to have another Jeremy talking about Uruguay. Does anyone know a suitable candidate who isn’t a bit deranged?

Forthcoming events

On Thursday 10 November John Mc Donnell MP and George Galloway MP will be discussing the significance of the Cuban and Venezuelan revolutions. Venue to be confirmed.

In January Tariq Ali will be talking about his new book Pirates of the Caribbean. We will add more speakers as inspiration strikes.
