Sandra: What a brilliant reason for not attending the conference. I am really envious as just the phrase, “spa pamper day” makes me grab for the phone and make an appointment for a full body massage. Hope you have a relaxing day… :)…Hey Liam, what about SR organising a conference on “alternative ways of dealing with the daily grind of capitalism”? SR could book complementary therapists who deal with massage and other scientific and not-so-scientific forms of complementary therapies. Too New Age/Hippie? I think you would get a good take up though. 😉

I tend to agree Liam (the bit about resorting to the revolver re: hippies) but you can’t beat a massage…. and all 100% proven by scientific investigation.. Honest!

Although there is a case for going to the national demonstration at RAF Brize Norton that day calling for the troops out of Iraq/Afghanistan, supported by CND and StWC.Speakers: Jeremy Corbyn, Kate Hudson, Caroline Lucas, Rose Kane (or Colin Fox), Felicity Arbuthnot, plus national speakers from Stop the War to be confirmed.
