This site is becoming a real multi media affair. I’ve had a couple of genuine requests to make available the MP3 of Ian Angus’ introduction on ecosocialism from people who want to listen to it on the bus. You can download part 1 here and part 2 here. Underneath the player there is an arrow beside which it says “download”. Click that, save the file on your computer or MP3 player.

I’ve also commissioned a nude mime version and a musical interpetation from the Socialist Resistance theatre and drama group. We are all looking forward to the review in the Weekly Worker.

If you want to rip the soundtrack from Google videos or Youtube, and some of you do, try this link.

  1. thanks,

those blind or partially sighted socialists will be glad to know
that the Movement cares about them, and they’re not just stuck listening to capitalist propaganda on Radio Four !

the sooner that Socialist groupings make an effort to realise that not everyone is an able-bodied, white male, middle-class university graduate, the better 🙂

  2. On Sharing audio on blogs:

Esnips is a pain because the file has to be be downloaded to play or you have to go offsite. Can I suggest that for audio in future you use A-infos or Odeo. Our Media is a pain to relate to. thats is to upload your file.

Another great option is Wikispaces which offers flash players. but limited upload space on a free account. I prefer Wikipsaces to Esnips anyday.

When sharing audio I also like to offer a flash player option so what I do is post the audio link to my blog, process the feed up to RSS through Feedburner and subscribe to that blog in my Google Reader. I then copy and paste the player into the original blog post.

If you plan on offering a lot of mp3 audio, consider installing a link to Big Contact. I think that’s the most useful way to share audio via flash.

    And all this…free!
