cochabamba6 Are you at a loose end on Sunday? Would you rather spend a couple of hours at a lively celebration instead of writing increasingly angry comments on blogs? (if you answered “no” to that question you need to pause and wonder where your life is going wrong.) Here’s an invite via the Bolivia Solidarity Campaign. I went last year and it was a very uplifting afternoon.

Thanks to Keith who sent me the photos from Cochabamba.

Dear brothers and sisters,

come and join us to celebrate the 2nd year of the government for change in Bolivia. The event will take place in Bolivar Hall, 54 Grafton Way, London W1T 5DL, Tube Station: Warren Street, on Sunday 27th, January from 12.30 to 14.30.cochabamba

The revolutionary process in Bolivia continues, while the right wing has not given up their call to violence and secession. The rich and powerful have the support of rich multinationals who want to continue the pillage of Bolivia.  We express our solidarity with the democratically elected government, and support the constitutional reforms demanded by the majority of Bolivians.

We need to show unity and solidarity at this time of need.  For more details visit our web site: www.boliviasc.org.uk

This event is organized by the Bolivian Embassy and the Bolivian Federation in the UK, of which BSC is part.
