Next Wednesday, 7 October , the TUC has organised ‘Rhyme, Rhythm & Reason’ as their contribution to the World Day for Decent Work. The evening will be headlined by the legendary Linton Kwesi Johnson, making a rare London appearance. Linton will be showcasing his work of dissenting poetry, with fellow dub poet, the incomparable Jean ‘Binta’ Breeze. From Zimbabwe Wellington Chibebe, Wellington is the General Secretary of the Zimbabwe Congress of Trade Unions and has been persistently harassed, assaulted and imprisoned by the Mugabe regime for his courageous campaign for democratic rights.
