gabber Here’s a plug for a new radical news aggregator TheGabber.Org. Don’t be scared. That just means that someone else rummages through the internet looking for sources of information that “are carefully selected and chosen on the basis that they are reliable, regularly updated and of use to people who have an interest in, or are involved in, activities, campaigns and movements that seek to bring about progressive social change.” As proof of their high standards they even carried this site’s advert for next week’s Jerry Hicks’ rally.

The site is run by volunteers who aren’t connected to any organisation and just because they link to a source doesn’t necessarily mean they endorse the people behind it.

This seems to be their mission statement:

“We are not a ‘neutral’ news source – if such a thing exists. On the contrary, we are on the side of those people around the world who in one form or another are struggling against oppression and inequality. By aggregating stories from a range of sources across the world, we hope to enable people to learn about, and support, each other’s struggles.”

It’s just been launched and they are keen for feedback and support.

And with a dreary predictability…
