The Israelis and Americans frequently boast of their skill at killing. They can accurately put missiles through an apartment window from hundreds of miles away. These two blood-crazed gangster imperialisms fetishise mass murder. Their leaders seem to get sexually aroused by it. Listen to Hegseth and Rubio rejoicing in slaughter for confirmation.

It defies belief that the two most sophisticated killing machines the world has ever seen did not know that the only people who would die when they bombed the Minab school would be mostly girls aged between seven and twelve, along with adult staff. We can be certain that in some of the American and Israeli far right the deaths of the children will be celebrated as a successful pre-emptive strike. After all, the girls would eventually become women and most of them would go on to have Iranian children. The most ludicrous theological justifications for the carnage are now being offered to American troops who are told by officers that ‘President Trump has been anointed by Jesus to light the signal fire in Iran to cause Armageddon and mark his return to Earth’.

If the Americans had not murdered the children, they would have told us by now. It was a double tap attack of the sort the Israelis frequently use in Gaza. In this case, Iranian ineptitude is not to blame.

The Americans and Israelis are repeating the same message they gave in Gaza. They will kill anyone they want, irrespective of age or combatant status because they want to terrorise and break a whole society morally, politically and socially. This was why they are happy that the world knows that they gave Hind Rajab a long terrifying death. They are saying “if we will do that to a child whose family we have murdered in front of her, we will do it do anyone.” To reinforce the point, they killed the ambulance crew as well. This is as intimately bestial as anything in the story of twentieth century imperialism.

When the Americans defend themselves by saying they don’t target children, schools or civilian populations, the country’s blood-soaked history says otherwise. In Laos, Cambodia, and Vietnam they murdered millions and went on to produce a whole cultural genre presenting themselves as the victims.

The war between Iran and the Americans and Israelis resembles the battle of Omdurman in which Winston Churchill took part. The most modern weapons of the late 19^th century were used by British imperialism to slaughter a Sudanese army which was fighting with technology from two centuries earlier. This is why the Iranian political and military leaderships are repeatedly being decapitated. Their strategy of alienating the populations in the region by indiscriminate attacks is only serving to drive what could be a base of a mass anti-war movement in the region against them.

It seems unlikely that the imperialists will launch a ground invasion of Iran. Afghan forces armed with little more than AK47s and rocket launchers humiliated them. The most likely outcome is that the Israelis inflict a condition of permanent chaos on the country.

Despite the stage managed funeral it laid on for the murdered children and school staff, there can be no ambiguity about the fact the counter-revolutionary regime is every bit as willing as the Americans and Israelis to repeatedly slaughter Iranians who oppose it. It is the Iranian people who need to bring their criminal leaders to justice.

The Americans and Israelis started their war against Iran by showing that they are willing to murder large numbers of the most innocent Iranian. This massacre of children will not be the last until the war stops.
