You don’t have to wear a hoodie to get an ASBO. Green Party member George Fenoulhet-Walker got one last week for protesting against the Defence Systems and Equipment International Arms Fair in London Docklands. So did Dr Jonathan Oppenheim, one of Britain’s top experts on quantum mechanics. (Though I don’t think he’s as good as me.)
They were part of a group disrupting rail traffic to the exhibition by climbing onto the tops of trains. They all received indefinite ASBOs and were told not to interfere with trains again. Though they are free to set up their own weapons manufacturing business I suppose.
