In this short introduction Paul Holmes, who is a candidate for the General Secretary’s post in the current UNISON election, draws some connections between the political situation and the contest. The video was shot at the joint press conference he did with Jerry Hicks.

From the outside it does seem that UNISON’s bureaucracy sets the gold standard for roll over and die trade unionism. It also seem to be rather keen on the old tradition of witch trials for socialists.
